What Are Your Terminal Values?

Values are the things that you hold to be important in life, but there are some things that we value inherently, and other things that we only value as a means to an end. For example, you might value money because it gives you security. Security is what you really value - you only value money as a means to achieve it.

In general, we all value the same things - human life, freedom, and justice to name a few. But we draw lines of political division according to how we interpret these values and how we pursue them. For example, everyone believes in justice, but do you believe that the justice system should punish or reform criminals?

What do you value most? Are there any broad values that everyone can agree on?
